- I think it's safe to say I have transformed from a scrapbooker to a blogger. It's fun to be able to document our family stories. We are a little crazy but we have a lot of fun.

How To Get Better Results
How to complain about my (The Negotiator’s) dog barking.
1. Politely knock on the door at a decent hour.
Do not show up banging on my door at 6 am before I have had coffee.
2. Introduce yourself and state your business.
Do not stand on my porch yelling "Hello".
3. Make sure you know what you’re talking about.
Do not tell me you live in the back field. There are at least 30 acres in between us and “the back field.” Are you positive you hear my dog?
4. Give accurate details.
The dog barks. Don’t tell me she barks every morning from 3 am on. That is simply not true and you will lose credibility. Right now she is barking because some Moron is on my porch.
5. Be thankful.
The only reason I didn’t have a gun in my hand was because you caught me off guard and I thought a pig could be out with your sense of urgency.
6. Go to my neighbor’s house. They are probably the ones with the barking dog. While you’re there complain about them riding their 4-wheeler up and down the road.
They will poison your dogs causing you to have to lock them up which might result in them barking.
7. Try closing your window.
If you can hear a single barking dog with at least 30 acres in between, I am sure there are some other sounds that you are sensitive to.
8. Meet our pigs and chickens.
The pigs are much louder than any dog and they are closer to “the back field.” The chickens are always hollering about something. And, do I need to point out, we have three roosters! That is annoying. Give me a reason to get rid of them.
You’re welcome.

Twinkies
The Maniac: "Amy says she's gonna bring us banana Twinkies."
Me: "She did not say that."
Nature
We were outside hanging clothes on the line.
Me: "Your pigs smell bad today. I can smell them all the way up here."
The Manic: "Good, my clothes will smell like nature."

Chick
"Why would you bring your baby out in to that mess? You are a horrible mother." He shamed her.
So, at first notice of another chick he brought it inside. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of him having a chick in his room. (See what I did there?)
The chick was awesome.
We kept her in the house and played with her for a few days. Another chick hatchet with a different hen in a better location. The Maniac brought the chick to her and she accepted it as her own.
So far, so good.
Adamant
Me: "Why are you so adamant to annoy me?"
The Negotiator: "Why are you.......using words like adamant?"
