The Negotiator: (In a very snotty big brother tone) "Is that your problem?"

The Maniac: "Is that your face?"

Booties

My sister-in-law posted on Facebook that she wished she could learn how to crochet so she could make some booties for her baby.  I don't live closed enough to teach her how to crochet so I surprised the girls with these. 

Curiosity

Inspired by the pig hat.

The Maniac: "Do you think male flamingos have pink balls?"

Pig Hat

The Maniac: "Mom, can you crochet me a pig hat?  Like Haley's Cookie Monster hat but a pig? I know you can do it.  It will be easy."

Me:  "That doesn't sound very easy.  Would you really wear it?"

Then he proceeded to go through my yarn and find what I needed.  It was not easy.  But, with The Maniac's continued encouragement I did it.  Of course he wears it. 

Future Plans

The Negotiator: "Taking ceramics in High School sounds fun.  But, maybe I should take classes that will really help me with college? Like...Biology."

The Maniac: (Slightly under his breath)  "Maybe you should take Anger Management."
