Feel Better Dog came along when the boys were very young. Kind of by accident, Tucker named him and it began a tradition. When a family member got sick they got Feel Better Dog to help them get through it.
As the kids got older, they didn't get sick as often and Feel Better Dog was put away in a box to be forgotten about. Recently, The Negotiator got sick and was home from school for three days. His fever reached 103.8. Nothing seemed to be helping him feel better. In a panic, I remembered this old friend.
He brought a smile to the 11 year old.
